ABOUT ME

I am a lecturer in the Art and Technology Department at the School of Creative Design, Shenzhen Technology University. My research focuses on how digital technologies shape artistic processes, perceptual experience, and interactive systems. Through multimodal sensing, computational imaging, and human–computer interaction methods, I explore how technology intervenes in contemporary art and cultural communication, and how it may influence audience experience and forms of technological embodiment.

is an immersive dynamic installation exploring cross-dimensional communication between future beings and humans. By interacting with the work, the audience activates the NOEMA system—a visualized language of consciousness—to receive unique responses. These symbols transcend linguistic logic, constructing a new form of exchange beyond human frameworks and prompting reflection on future life forms and the evolution of consciousness.

2. RESONANCE

/Kinectic Installation
/Cross-discipline Media Performance
 is based on EEG technology, using a head-mounted device to collect participants’ brainwave signals—such as attention levels and emotional fluctuations—and converting them in real time into digital instructions that drive mechanical movement. These invisible cognitive activities are thus transformed into visible, dynamic mechanical behaviors. 

Inspired by bionic organisms, the form of the installation draws on imagined post-human mechanical lifeforms, with its mechanical tentacles exhibiting lifelike movement that blurs the line between the organic and the artificial.

3. ECHOES IN THE CRACKS

Collecting materials in the city is an exploration full of chance and uncertainty. This project begins with the percussionist Shi Yi’s sound, tracing its ephemeral path to reveal fleeting moments of coexistence between people and the city. Through the perception of “traces, collectives, and settlements,” sound and image resonate to form a symbiotic field across time and space.
