The second season of the “Digital Species Project” at Longcheng CC Creative Street aims to enhance the artistic experience of digital art exhibitions through technology, attracting nearby audiences and helping the public understand the exhibition’s themes in a playful and engaging way.
This interactive exploratory projection wall is designed with a fluid-sand visual layer displayed on the screen surface. Using a camera to capture facial movement data, the system allows visitors to interact with the flowing sand in real time. When the viewer moves their head, the sand particles shift accordingly, revealing the exhibition images hidden beneath.
As visitors uncover these visuals, they gain a deeper understanding of the exhibition content. When a viewer discovers a ‘hidden bonus’ image, they can take a photo and redeem a small gift, encouraging curiosity, interaction, and a sense of playful discovery throughout the viewing experience.
